Your eligibility is very important. It is your life and do not make the mistake of losing it by not understanding the NCAA rules and regulations. As a student athlete, you are not allowed to sign a contract with sports agent or receive any kind of payment for participating in any sport. You shouldn't even discuss contract or ways to make money while in college. Of course you can perform manual jobs while still in school, but as far as going out with an agent and luring you by way of accepting precious gift with monetary value attached to it, you set yourself up in losing your college eligibility to continue to participate in intercollegiate sports. We encourage you during your college career to focus on your studies and working on your game. The time will come for work and also to receive lots of money especially if you happen to make it to the professional level. Athletes who make it to the professional level can receive millions of dollars. If you cannot make it to the NBA, NHL, MBL, NFL or other big leagues, remember you can always head towards Europe or Asia to play. After you make a name for yourself, you can come back and try-out for the big leagues. Now is not the time to think about the big leagues. Think about SCHOOL and BALL
