International immigration law prohibits an individual from entering any country without possession of a valid temporary visitor's visa unless that individual holds an identification or an international passport, which exempts him or her from applying for a visitor's visa into that country. For instance, holders of Canadian, American and British passports are exempt from visa application to most countries in the world. However, to study and work, regardless of the passport you hold, you must first apply for a student or employment visa (sometimes refer to as work permit or employment authorization) through the consulate or high commission office in your homeland. You will be required to present documents to support your visa application. For student visas, you will need letters of acceptance, financial statement and other relevant documents. For temporary visitor's visas, you will need letters of invitation, sufficient proof to support whatever claim you may have. For employment, you will need letters from the employer and proof that you are qualified for the position.
You can immigrate to a country through family, investment opportunities, skilled workers, entrepreneur ventures and independent immigrant programs. You automatically qualify for permanent residency if married to a person who is a citizen of the country of interest. If you have thousands of dollars and would like to live permanently in Britain, Canada or the United States, you can invest that money in business through the appropriate government bodies of that country. If you have employment skills that are in high demand, you can qualify for permanent resident in most countries without even realizing it.
Please note that fulfilling the requirements for a visitor's visa and immigrant application are no guarantees that you will be issued a temporary visitor's visa or your permanent resident status will be granted. All consular and immigration officers reserve the right to refuse you entry into a country or reject your visa application. It will be up to you to provide enough evidence and documentation to support the precise purpose of your visit. We are here to make it easier for you.
No matter the situation, DO NOT attempt to travel out of your home country without a valid visa. You can face serious persecution or risk deportation if found entering a country illegally or with falsified travel documents. Before making traveling arrangements, please contact us to confirm if you require a visa to that country.
