STUDYING ENGLISH LANGUAGE
The United States or Canadian English Language Rovest provides a interested persons the opportunity to study the English Language in the United States through various programs. We will help you obtain Form F-1, which enables you to live, work and study in the United States. The curriculum started since September 2002 and Ohio State government in the United States supports it.
The center of English as a second language (ESL) Ohio State University accepts students from all educational institutions wishing to study the English language. The main objective for students is to familiarize themselves with the American English Language, learn about American University structure as well as life on campus and overall way of life in the United States.
Official Registration Process Each person completes our Questionnaire and chooses any of the offered programs. Every section of the questionnaire should be completed. We must receive the completed questionnaire and payment for the registered training course not later than 11 weeks prior to the beginning of the course. Upon receipt of funds and within 3-4 weeks, we will begin the process of issuance of legal documents such as form 1-20.
Since September 11, 2002, the Ohio States Department has made it obligatory for the institution to confirm student registration or participation in the program before a visa can be granted. Confirmation is sent by mean of the ISEAS program through Ohio State Department. The full package of documents will be sent via courier to the home address of the applicant or the mailing address of the agency representing the applicant. To expedite the visa process, we will also send instruction during the applicant interview to the American Embassy. The responsibility of the applicant includes obtaining interview date at reception of the American Embassy, purchase of round trip ticket to Cleveland, Ohio and informing us on flight number and date of arrival.
Structure of the Program During the program, we offer an average of 25 hours of training per week. Within these 25 hours, Ten (10) hours is allocated to colloquial and dictionary lectures, which includes learning how to pronounce English Language words. Five (5) hours will be dedicated to grammar, five (5) hours for acquaintance with structure of university and five (5) hours of familiarized lecture with the American culture. Class work, includes various projects and no learning actions. Depending on number of participants, classes will be divided based the level of knowledge of the English language demonstrated by each students. Ten (10) people are the minimum quantity of students accepted per class. Visa requirements include obligatory visiting all planned occupations.
The ESL center provides accommodation for students at the university hotel or comparable hotel or motel. The rooms are double and there is an easy access to the campus. Many accommodation units are equipped with kitchen. Each student receives a photo ID and based on the payment received for a course, each student is given the privilege to gain assess to the university bus system, library and sports complex. Summer Semester 9-week package: One hundred and eighty (180) hours of lectures Accommodation in a double room at the university hotel or equivalent hotel for 62 nights A meeting at the airport with group and returning to international airport in Cleveland Maintenance with transport in days off for the period of possible excursions; administrative payments. The price: $6,085.00*
4-week package: Eighty (80) hours of lectures Accommodation in a double room at the university hotel or equivalent hotel for 27 nights A meeting at the airport with groups and returning to international airport in Cleveland Maintenance with transport in days off for the period of possible excursions; administrative payments. GERMAN LANGUAGE FOR STUDENTS FROM 17 YEARS OLD
The Course

Teachers and Lecturers All teachers are carriers of German language and have excellent pedagogical and philogical formation. Besides, they have wide experience in teaching Germany language as foreign in the International classes. During educational process, teachers regularly replace each other.
