The International Driver's License is invalid by itself. It must be used in conjunction with your original diver's license issued by the authority of your home country. While abroad, you must obey and follow traffic rules and safety regulations of the country. Depending on the country you are visiting, traffic rules and regulations could be different and could also have some similarities. It is your responsibility to what they are and obey them in accordance with the provision of local laws and enforcement agents.
